Tour de Big Bear

RIDER RULES

The safety of all Tour de Big Bear participants is our most important priority. Please review and adhere to the following course rules.

  • The Tour de Big Bear is not a closed course; there will be traffic on the roads. Please use caution at all times and abide by the rules of the road.
  • With the exception of the Dirty Burro Mountain Bike race, the Tour de Big Bear is a timed RIDE, not a race.
  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • You, the rider, are required to obey all traffic laws.
  • Ride safely and in control.  Ride in a single file format whenever possible. You will be riding on mountain roads with blind corners, rough sections and steep descents.
  • No personal support vehicles.
  • Display your bike number and wristband at all times.  You will not be permitted to enter aid stations or receive any other rider benefits without them.
  • No unregistered riders.
  • No iPods, headphones, or personal stereos while riding.
  • Event proceeds is rain or shine.  Please come prepared.
