The headline showdown. Top three on the podium take home the largest payouts of the weekend, plus a winner’s jersey and a free entry into 2027.

All 100-mile and 70-mile road riders are ranked together and automatically entered in the Onyx Summit KOM/QOM — 7.5 miles, 1,570 feet of climbing. That segment is the only thing that counts. We crown the fastest woman and fastest man up Onyx and hand out cash and special awards.
Your overall finish time doesn’t factor in. These roads stay open to traffic, so we don’t want to put a prize on the line for whoever takes the biggest risk at an intersection. Please obey the traffic laws, stop at the stop signs, and stay at the aid stations as long as you need. This route is hard enough — eat, drink, and get right before you roll out. The clock that counts starts at the bottom of Onyx.
View our KOM/QOM Challenges or check out our road events for more route details.

King and Queen of the Mountain over fifty miles of dirt. Open field, one bracket per gender — top three in the KOM/QOM segment take home cash prizes and special awards.
The KOM/QOM segment is what you’re competing for, not your overall finish time. Our gravel routes cross open roads, so we don’t want to put a prize on the line for whoever takes the biggest risk at an intersection. Please obey the traffic laws, stop at the stop signs, and stay at the aid stations as long as you need. Stop, refill, eat something, and stay as long as you need. The only clock that counts starts and stops at the KOM/QOM segment on course.
Our 2027 KOM/QOM Challenges will be posted in the weeks leading up to event weekend. Stay tuned for details.

The youngest finisher in each event earns a winner’s jersey — a nod to the next generation showing up across all seven distances.
Not everything is about the clock. These go to the riders who bring the spirit — luck, grit, and the best costume on the mountain.
