Tour de Big Bear Rider Rules
The safety of all Tour de Big Bear participants is our most important priority. Please review and adhere to the following course rules.
- The Tour de Big Bear is not a closed course; there will be traffic on the roads. Please use caution at all times and abide by the rules of the road.
- With the exception of the Dirty Burro Mountain Bike race, the Tour de Big Bear is a timed ride, not a race.
- Helmets are mandatory.
- You the rider are required to obey all traffic laws.
- Ride safely and in control. Ride in a single file format whenever possible. You will be riding on mountain roads with blind corners, rough sections and steep descents.
- No personal support vehicles.
- Display your bike number and wristband at all times. You will not be permitted to enter aid stations or receive any other rider benefits.
- No unregistered riders.
- No iPods, headphones or personal stereos while riding.
- Event is rain or shine. Please come prepared.
- Course will be closed at 5 pm.
